I absolutely love Tauro Cocina! I’ve been a fan since they first opened, and every visit continues to impress. From the moment you step in, you’re greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home. The food is incredible – each dish transports you to different parts of the world with bold flavors and unique combinations. Whether it's the linguini poblano, pizza, birria, skirt steak, or mussels, every dish is crafted to perfection. Personally, the mussels are my absolute favorite – hands down the best in town! The family that owns Tauro Cocina has done a fantastic job creating a place where the ambiance, experience, and food all come together seamlessly. And to top it off, their nightcap drinks are the perfect way to keep the evening going. If you're looking for a place that combines great food and a welcoming vibe, this is it. Highly recommend!

Been here twice and absolutely loved the food both times. One of my favorite restaurants in Milwaukee! They make Mexican and Italian flavors work so well together - such unique dishes. I especially recommend their ravioli. Can't wait to be back here to try more things on the menu! They also have a decent amount of vegetarian options.

Lived in Milwaukee for 8 years and can confidently say this is my favorite restaurant in the city. Whenever my family comes to town this is where we go! Incredible fast service, amazing food, great atmosphere, in a super fun area of Milwaukee!

Where do I start?! Tauro is simply outstanding! Their food is top notch (Chile Encuerado, Fettuccini al Mezcal and the Churro Cheesecake are my personal faves), the atmosphere is adorable (with great lighting) and the owners are equally amazing! I had the pleasure of working with Ahide and Berto for a Derby party and they couldn't have been easier to work with - kind, creative and responsive, everything you want when planning an event. That being said, Tauro is not only an incredible place for dinner, it's also an incredible place to host your next event!

Lovely ambiance and delicious drinks! Our waitor was incredibly sweet and attentive. We ordered El Antiguado (short glass) and Pina Con Mezcal. Definitely reccomend it. Will be coming back to enjoy the food soon.

Tauro Cocina is definitely in my top 3 favorite restaurants in Milwaukee. The fusion of flavors with Latin/Italian is unmatched for the city, the dishes are all flavorful and tasty! I love coming here for pasta and pizza, not to mention their cocktail menu is big and drinks never disappoint! The atmosphere isn’t anything special, more cozy than elegant I’d say. I would recommend trying to get a table outside in the summer if you can! Can’t wait to come back!

Had an amazing birthday dinner here! We started with the pan de casa served with espinaca and queso romano. The bread was soft, delicious, and there was plenty of it to enjoy! The espinaca and queso romano was so flavorful. We ended up eating our pizza with it when we ran out of bread because it was that good! For entrees we split the poblano pesto with grilled chicken and the burrata pizza. The poblano pesto was reminiscent of espagueti verde. It was nostalgic, the pasta was perfectly cooked, the sauce was flavorful and herbaceous with a nice little spice to it. And the grilled chicken was so delicious too. Also perfectly cooked! The burrata pizza had grilled peaches, burrata cheese, olive oil, arugula, and honey basil drizzle. Every flavor danced beautifully together and the pizza crust itself was some of the best I have EVER had legit. So fire!!! I also got complimentary birthday churros that were the sweetest treat to end the night. It was all amplified by the sweetest server, Val, who was prompt, funny, and really welcoming. Still buzzing about this meal the next day! One of my new favs in my city for sure.

I decided to check out Tauro Cocina on a ramdom Tuesday. From start to finish, it was excellent! I started with the Mussels in Chipotle butter and white wine. If you love mussels you love this dish! For my entree I got the Spicy Tomato Basil Pasta with Chicken. It's spicy, so if you like spice you'll love it. For dessert I had the churros, the raspberry sauce is so good! For drinks I enjoyed the regular margarita, expertly made!
